Requirements

General Sixth Form admission requirements plus a grade 5 or above in GCSE Mathematics and a minimum of two 6 grades in GCSE Science subjects.

Where can it lead?

A-Level study in Chemistry develops analytical, numerical and higher level thinking skills. These are transferable across a range of courses and are highly desirable in many employment sectors. A-Level Chemistry is a requirement entry subject for medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and pharmacy. It is also suited to careers in engineering, agriculture, forensic science, teaching and archaeology.
